GOLDHOFER RA 4 TOWER ADAPTER

The Goldhofer RA 4 is a tower adapter set for transporting wind turbine tower sections. It is mounted on modular
\nGoldhofer vehicles, for example a 7+9 combination (7-axle semi low-loader with gooseneck plus THP\/SL-L 3+4
\ncombination, and a 9-axle trailing unit THP\/SL-L 4+5 combination). The adapters grip the tower section by its
\ninner flange and lift, lower and carry it in a free-swinging arrangement, which allows long tower sections to be
\nmoved with high ground clearance and full hydraulic control.<\/p>\n
